About the company

GPS Polyamide GmbH was established in 2025 as a small consulting company by two former PCI Nylon GmbH and Wood Mackenzie analysts, Dr. Timur Zilbershtein and Janek Müller. The company specializes in cost analysis and market intelligence for the polyamide value chain. We have organized the 20th European Polyamide Conference in May 2026, with Quentin de Carvalho, Director of Polyamide Service at Wood Mackenzie, as the key speaker.

We have launched our monthly Cost Indexes Report that tracks the costs of polyamide intermediates and polymers production in Europe, in the USA and in China. This product is designed as a reference and support tool for commercial discussions regarding polyamide value chain products. We are working on New Yellowbook, a supply and demand report with country-level and asset-level details, based on our experience in the analysis of the industry, knowledge of the market, and trade data analysis. We are also happy to explore specific questions regarding supply, demand, production costs and other topics relevant for polyamide.
